How Hard is Parker Going to be Hit?
No question that Parker is not immune to the foreclosure and financial crises. Almost every neighborhood in Parker has been affected somewhat. But on average, Parker has not been hit as hard as most areas of Denver, and certainly does not reflect in any way the bad numbers you hear on a national basis. Our average price has held steady, and days on the market is normal like it is for a balanced market. Luckily we are not glutted with sellers. Remember, real estate is LOCAL. We are not California. We are not Florida. We never went up 50% in one year, and we won’t go down 50% either. Thank goodness.
